At North Tama Elementary, we use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote a safe and supportive learning environment. Our school-wide expectations are built around the acronym HEART: Health, Effort, Action, Respect and Team . Through PBIS, we encourage positive behavior, recognize student success, and support all learners in making responsible choices.
