North Tama teachers Anne Turner, Jill Miller, Vonna Watson, and Olivia Schrier explore balance at a recent STEM Scale-Up training. The four teachers were awarded an Iowa STEM Scale-Up Grant, titled "All About Balance." They are excited to bring a variety of balance experiences into their classrooms.

North Tama Red Ribbon Week is October 25-27th. Your child may dress-up on Wednesday, "Let's Put Drugs to Sleep" put on your pajamas, Thursday, "Team Up Against Drugs!" wear your favorite sports team, and Friday, "Redhawks Against Drugs!" -- wear your red and white! We encourage students to break the silence when it comes to substance abuse. Whether it's for you or someone you know, seek help from a trusted adult or one of our counselors at NT.
